Zamalek has decided to impose financial penalties on Brazilian player Juan Bezerra for his absence from Cairo, as confirmed by Maher Gharib, the head of the club's media system.

Ghareeb stated in an interview with Karim Ramzy on the program 'L'Game and the Second' on Mega FM: "We have imposed penalties on Juan Bezera due to his absence from the team's training and his failure to attend in Cairo."

He added: "We held a Zoom meeting with the player's agent and lawyer, and this is a positive point for Zamalek. They told us they have an offer and are requesting our approval."

He continued: "The response was that the player should come to Cairo first, and there is no talk of increasing Bezera's contract. He is like the other Zamalek players, and Bezera is the biggest loser in his crisis with Zamalek."

Zamalek may be facing a technical loss as they have one of the best players in the Egyptian league last season. We will not blame anyone regarding the frequent registration bans and financial crises.

He added: "However, the investigation is a natural and logical step. Zamalek is a club that is subject to state oversight and has official bodies for investigations. Any money that enters the club is a priority for the players and their overdue payments. It is not true that the funds from the Hossam Abdel-Meguid deal went to a businessman; all the money went into the club's treasury."
