Sevilla FC has moved to secure the services of French striker George Elinikhina from Union, as the player has caught the attention of the Andalusian club during the current summer transfer window.

The Spanish club has made a verbal offer worth €10 million, along with an additional €3 million linked to incentives, proposing that the federation receive a future percentage from the player's resale.

Ittihad has raised its financial demands for the young striker, setting a price of around €20 million for his departure, with the condition that the amount is paid upfront.

Elinikhina is 20 years old and appears open to a return to European football, with interest from several clubs in acquiring his services during the current transfer window.

The Union previously rejected offers to loan out their French striker, notably attempts from Italian side Bologna and Turkish club Trabzonspor, as the club remains firm on its stance regarding the player's future.

Sevilla now faces a tough task to complete the deal, as they will need to raise their financial offer to meet the value set by the federation if they want to finalize Elinikhina's transfer.

Negotiations remain open between the two parties, as the Spanish club seeks to reduce the cost of the deal, while the federation insists on its financial conditions before allowing the departure of its striker.
