Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livaković, currently at Turkish side Fenerbahçe, has been proposed to Barcelona, with a suggestion to sign him and then loan him to Dinamo Zagreb for a season, pending the expiration of Wojciech Szczęsny's contract with the Catalan club.

According to Croatian newspaper "Index HR", Barcelona has reached an agreement with Fenerbahce to sign Livakovic for €3 million, plus add-ons, with the player set to be loaned back to Dinamo Zagreb for a year.

However, the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" clarified that Barcelona has not responded to the offer yet, and thus there is no deal at this time. Meanwhile, the Croatian goalkeeper's contract with Fenerbahce runs until 2028.

Livaković, 31 years old, has 79 international caps with the Croatian national team and participated in seven matches during the 2022 World Cup. He also played in all four of his country's matches in the recent World Cup before their exit against Portugal.

Barcelona is placing Alex Remiro, the Real Sociedad goalkeeper, among their options for next season as his contract nears its end. Livaković joined Fenerbahçe in 2023 and was loaned to Girona in the first half of the 2025/2026 season without making any appearances.

Leviakovic faces competition for his starting position at Fenerbahce after the arrival of Ederson, the former Manchester City goalkeeper.
