Zamalek in Talks with Hossam El-Zanaty for Sporting Director Role

According to "Youm7" newspaper, negotiations are currently underway between Zamalek and Hossam El Zanaty, the deputy sporting director of Danish club Nordsjælland, to take over as the sporting director of the White Club, succeeding John Edward.

The newspaper reported that Zanati is currently in Egypt and is holding meetings with Zamalek officials to discuss the final details regarding his appointment as sporting director, including responsibilities, powers, and the working mechanism within the football sector.

The recent negotiations between Zamalek and Zanaty highlighted the latter's requirement for complete authority and an independent management of the sports file without any interference to implement his vision and develop the football sector. Additionally, the club is committed to paying players' dues on time to ensure team stability and avoid previous financial crises.

Zamalek's management is also discussing with Zenati the nature of his role in managing transfers, coordinating work with the coaching staff and the board of directors, while establishing a clear decision-making mechanism for the first team to prevent overlapping responsibilities.

Zamalek's management is looking to leverage the experience of Zenati and his time at Danish club Nordsjælland to reorganize their football system and establish a more stable foundation.
