Al Ahly's Interest in John Edward Confirmed as False

Famous broadcaster Ahmad Shobair has revealed the truth behind the circulating news regarding Al Ahly's potential signing of John Edward, the former sporting director of Zamalek.

In statements made during his radio program, Shobir said: "It was rumored that Zamalek has re-established contact with John Edward, but a source from within the club denied this, confirming that it was an experience that has ended."

Hossam El-Mandouh, the treasurer of Zamalek, stated that Juan Edward benefited from his time at the club. "Of course, he benefited from the club and his name became prominent (like a drum), but the benefit was mutual, and the experience has ended."

A source stated: "But someone else said his departure is due to Al Ahly... (there's a ghost named Al Ahly!) So, will Al Ahly, for example, sign John Edward for the position of football director? What would that mean for Wael Gomaa?".

John Edward emphasized: "As the sporting director at Zamalek, it is impossible for me to work at Al Ahly. By the way, there was a relationship between Al Ahly and John previously, as he was the agent for Ali Maaloul."

He continued: "John Edward, the agent, will return to his profession. This is neither a flaw nor a sin. I see that he has created greatness at Zamalek, so everyone must face their problems to reach a solution, without casting blame on others unnecessarily."
