Zamalek Denies Officially Agreeing to Sell Bezera
Zamalek Club confirmed in an official statement today, Wednesday, that it does not approve the sale of team player Juan Bezerra, following recent reports about the Brazilian star joining Al Ahli Dubai Club in the UAE.
Zamalek stated in its official announcement: "The club's board confirms that the news circulating in recent hours regarding the approval to sell Brazilian Juan Bezerra, the first team football player, is not true. The board also affirms that the club's position, which was announced in an official statement some time ago, remains firm and unchanged."
The White Club added: "Zamalek is following all legal procedures in this matter, ensuring the rights of the club and its fans are preserved. The player must return and join the team's training sessions, especially since he is under contract with the club for the next three seasons, and therefore cannot leave without Zamalek's approval."
Zamalek's statement continued: "The board of Zamalek Club urges the media to be accurate and not to be swayed by news being circulated here and there without an official source."
The club's statement concluded: "The club urges its large fanbase not to heed any news regarding the club in general, except through the official channels and media outlets of Zamalek."
