Zizo's Father: FA Ignored Our Complaint Against Zamalek
Mustafa Zizo, father of Al Ahly player Ahmed Zizo, spoke out about the Egyptian Football Association's neglect in responding to a long-standing request to review the rationale behind the Players' Affairs Committee's decision to dismiss the complaint filed by the player against his former club, Zamalek.
Mustafa Zizo stated in exclusive comments to the Al-Mahwar Stadium program: "We have submitted an official memorandum to Dr. Mustafa Azam, the Secretary General of the Football Association, requesting the reasoning behind the ruling of the Player Affairs Committee, and we have not received a response yet, which is considered clear obstinacy and a failure to achieve equality and justice."
He added: "The football federation's disregard in responding to our request will be attached to the file that will be submitted to the international sports court, following the announcement of the appeals committee's ruling on our complaint regarding the overdue payments from Zamalek."
Zizo's father stated: "We submitted the appeal two weeks ago or more, and until now, no date has been set for it. In any case, these are formal procedures, and once the ruling is issued, we will resort to the Court of Arbitration for Sport because we are insisting on receiving our dues amounting to 82 million pounds."
