Al Ahly Denies Involvement in Beshera-Zamalek Crisis

Ahmad Shobair has revealed the truth about Al Ahly's involvement in the recent crisis concerning Brazilian player Juan Bezerra of Zamalek's first team.

Shobir stated during a radio interview: "The league starts in two days and Bezerra still hasn't arrived. Can I ask a question? What does Bezerra's absence have to do with Al Ahly? A player who was supposed to come didn't show up, disappeared, and issued a statement saying he wants to leave. What does Al Ahly have to do with this?"

He added: "Some people say that Al Ahly is behind it, telling him to go to the Emirates and we will bring you back. Let me be clear: Al Ahly has never considered Bezerra and he is not in our plans at all."

Shobeir emphasized that there has been no action from Ahly to sign Bezera, denying reports that the player was incited to leave Zamalek to join another club before moving to the Red Castle.
