Major Shift: Darwin Nunez on the Verge of Joining Diriyah

Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez's future has taken a surprising turn, as Al Hilal has halted negotiations with Turkish side Trabzonspor and opened the door for a loan move to Al Diriyah.

According to journalist Sasha Tavaleri, Núñez was excluded from Al Hilal's squad on the last day of the team's camp in Austria, and he was scheduled to head to Turkey the following day to complete his loan transfer to Trabzonspor for one season.

A source revealed that Al-Dhariyah Club intervened in the deal unexpectedly, initiating talks with Al-Hilal to loan Nunez for one sporting season, while covering 75% of the player's salary.

Tafoliri indicated via his account on X that Al Hilal has decided today to halt negotiations with Trabzonspor and has given the green light to complete the deal with Al Daraiyah.

Meanwhile, Besiktas has failed to reach any agreement with the player, leading Nunez, who was close to a transfer to Trabzonspor, to now be on his way to join Al-Dhariyah on loan.
