Al Nassr Thrashes Al Daraiyah 4-1 to Reach King’s Cup Round of 16

Al Nassr secured their place in the Round of 16 of the King Salman Cup after turning around a deficit against Al Diriyah to claim a convincing 4-1 victory in the Round of 32 at Al Awal Park.

Al-Dhariyah surprised the home side with an early goal in the second minute, as Oscar Rodriguez capitalized on a well-placed low cross and struck the ball powerfully into the net.

Al-Nassr quickly regained their balance, with Mohamed Simakan leveling the score in the 11th minute, benefiting from a remarkable individual effort by João Félix, who delivered a low cross that the defender turned into the net.

Al Nassr imposed their dominance on the match, before João Félix made his mark again by scoring the opening goal in the 35th minute, connecting with a cross from the right side with a successful shot.

Al Nassr didn't wait long to add a third goal, as Abdullah Al Hamdan found the net against Al Diriyah in the 37th minute, giving his team a comfortable advantage before the end of the first half.

Ange Postecoglou made changes at the start of the second half, bringing on Abdullah Al-Khaibari for Samu Costa, and introducing Inigo Martinez in place of Mohamed Simakan.

João Félix continued his impressive performance in the 68th minute, adding his second goal and Al-Nassr's fourth, capitalizing on a low cross from the right side to slot the ball directly into the net.

Al Nassr maintained its superiority until the final whistle, clinching a spot in the Round of 16 with a resounding victory, and continues its journey in the King Abdulaziz Cup with great confidence.
