Moroccan Player Close to Joining Anderlecht
Moroccan forward Tawfiq Ben Tayeb is close to securing his transfer to Anderlecht in Belgium, as negotiations between the two parties have made significant progress, pending the completion of final procedures and the official announcement of the deal.
Ben Tayeb, 24, is expected to sign a contract with Anderlecht that will run until 2030, after catching the eye during last season while playing for Troyes in France, where he was on loan from Moroccan club Ittihad Touarga.
The Moroccan forward has made a strong impression during his time at Troyes, finishing the season with impressive scoring numbers, netting 20 goals and providing 3 assists in 31 matches across all competitions, attracting the interest of several European clubs.
According to French website 'Foot Mercato', the total value of the anticipated deal will reach around €4.5 million, including bonuses and variables, with an official announcement expected once all details are finalized.
