After just three months of announcing his retirement from professional football, German defender Niklas Süle has returned to the pitch, this time with amateur team SV Tiefenbach, which competes in the ninth tier of German football.

Zule, 30 years old, has previously played for Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund, and he won the Champions League title with Bayern Munich in 2020.

In his first appearance with Tifernbach, the player took on a different role than his usual center-back position, being deployed in midfield and attack. He managed to score a header, despite his team's heavy 7-2 defeat against SG Kirchardt.

Zule's return to football comes through the amateur ranks, aiming to enjoy the game away from the pressures of professional football, especially since two of his friends play for Tifernbach, one of whom is the coach.

Zouhle has confirmed that he wants to experience football from a different perspective, focusing on the joy of playing away from money and business.

Despite the heavy defeat, the German defender's participation turned into a notable event, as around 500 fans attended to watch him, and several supporters, along with some players from the opposing team, were eager to take photos and get his autograph after the match.
