Mourinho: There’s a principle everyone must follow, and this is what I want

Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho expressed his happiness at returning to coach Real Madrid during his presentation ceremony, attended by club president Florentino Perez and honorary president Jose Martinez "Piri".

Mourinho stated after his presentation: "I have returned home, emotionally, it is more beautiful than the first time, because back then it was about reaching the global summit, but now there is a greater emotional and human aspect. I am one of you, and I have always been."

The Portuguese coach added: "You can imagine what it means to me to work at Real Madrid. There is a principle that everyone must follow, which is to work for Real Madrid, and that means working for you."

Mourinho spoke about the task ahead with the team, stating that his goal goes beyond just achieving results. "Words are not enough, as it resembles a mission. I am not here to think about myself or the number of victories I will achieve, but I am here to help everyone become better, the players and the coaching staff."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "I want to create a culture based on work, responsibility, and ambition, and on something I know well, which is the responsibility and honor of working for Real Madrid. This is a concept I love very much."

This contract represents the beginning of Mourinho's second term with Real Madrid, after he led the team from 2010 to 2013, during which he succeeded in winning the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de España.
