Al Ahly to Miss Yassin Marai Against Eastern Company in League Clash

Yassin Marai, Al Ahly's defender, has been confirmed to miss the match against Eastern Company in the opening round of the 2026-2027 Egyptian Premier League season due to suspension.

Al Ahly will face Eastern Company on Sunday, August 23, at Cairo International Stadium, in the opening round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Yassine Marai was sent off in the match against Al-Masry in the closing game of last season's Premier League after fouling player Moaz Tamin outside the penalty area as he was about to break away on goal against Mostafa Shobeir.

Al Ahly is currently preparing to conclude their Spanish camp with a match against Barcelona tomorrow, Wednesday, at Spotify Camp Nou in the Joan Gamper Trophy as both teams gear up for the new season.
