Camavinga Stays Firm Amid Real Madrid Exit Talks
French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is facing an unclear situation at Real Madrid, as he is not included in coach José Mourinho's plans, despite the player's determination to stay and change the coaching staff's stance towards him.
According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," 23-year-old Camavinga understands that Real Madrid will not place obstacles to his departure if he decides to leave the club, but he is not contemplating this step at the moment, having rejected several offers, particularly from Premier League clubs.
The French midfielder is working to change his status within the team, putting in the effort to convince Mourinho of his ability to remain at Real Madrid, despite his name still being on the list of players likely to leave before the transfer window closes.
Meanwhile, Camavinga made a striking appearance during the friendly match against Schalke, when he wore the captain's armband for Real Madrid in the game held on Sunday, August 16, which ended with the royal team winning three goals to nil.
Camavinga shared photos from the pre-season on his Instagram account, with the first image showing him wearing the captain's armband. Vinicius, the vice-captain of Real Madrid, commented: "The captain," while Endrick added in his comment: "Captain Kama."
Camavinga was a starter in the five matches that Real Madrid played during the pre-season, including the encounters against Alcorcón and Leganés, but he started the last match against Schalke from the bench, as he continues to seek José Mourinho's trust and secure his place in the squad.
