Cairo Stadium and Zamalek Crisis Resolved for 4 Million EGP
Media personality Khaled El Ghandour has revealed that Zamalek has a debt to Cairo Stadium approaching 13 million EGP from previous seasons. So far, 4 million EGP of this amount has been paid through the sponsoring company, with an agreement to schedule the remaining balance.
Al Ahly has settled a large part of its outstanding financial obligations and is currently working on coordinating to set final deadlines for the remaining amounts, according to media personality Khaled El Ghandour in his program "Stadium Al Mehwar."
He added: "Modern Sport has settled its debts amounting to 6 million pounds, as have Zed and Al Ahly Bank. Cairo Stadium is ready to host matches for Al Ahly, Zamalek, Zed, Al Ahly Bank, and Modern Sport in the new season."
Zamalek is set to face Ittihad Alexandria in the opening round of the Egyptian Premier League on Friday, August 21.
