Manchester City and Al Hilal Lead Race for Pedro Neto
The competition for the services of Portuguese winger Pedro Neto from Chelsea has intensified, with Manchester City and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia making strong moves to secure the player. Both clubs have emerged as the frontrunners to finalize the deal during the current transfer window.
According to talkSPORT, Manchester City and Al Hilal are at the top of the list of clubs most interested in signing Neto, after the player previously caught the attention of several top Premier League teams.
Earlier, the newspaper "O Jogo" reported that Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City were all interested in signing the Portuguese winger, before Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia joined the race for his services.
Manchester City is eager to finalize the signing of Neto, but the English club's actions are tied to the completion of their player Savinho's transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, according to circulating information regarding the deal.
Al Hilal has entered the race to sign Neto in recent days, after Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the Saudi club's interest in the player, making them, alongside Manchester City, the main contenders for his services at this time.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's management understands the demand for their Portuguese winger, with reports indicating that the club has set a fee of around £70 million for his departure.
Despite the lack of any official information regarding Pedro Neto's next destination, current indications place Manchester City and Al Hilal at the forefront of clubs vying to secure the deal.
