Spanish midfielder Rodri is on the verge of wearing the number 16 jersey at Barcelona, having requested it directly from his teammate Fermín López, who agreed to hand over the number during their discussions in recent days.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Rodri spoke with Firmin about his wish to keep the iconic No. 16 jersey, which was met with approval from the Barcelona player.

As a result, Firmin Lopez will leave the number 16 shirt and will instead wear the number 7 jersey with the Catalan team.

This change allows Rodri to maintain his favorite and iconic number, following Firmin's agreement to give it up.
