Casado on the verge of leaving Barcelona as Al Hilal's stance becomes clear
Spanish midfielder Mark Casado is close to departing Barcelona during the summer transfer window, with interest from several clubs in securing his services.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Casado is a candidate to be the next player to leave Barcelona, following Tommy Marquez, who is expected to transfer to Portuguese side Braga.
Fabrizio Romano clarified that Al Hilal has not yet entered into any negotiations with Barcelona regarding the signing of Casado, despite reports linking the player to the Saudi club.
The Italian journalist pointed out that the Spanish midfielder has several options available, confirming that his agent, Jorge Mendes, is currently assessing offers and determining the most suitable destination.
Previous reports have indicated that Casado is nearing a departure from Barcelona, as the club's management is prepared to listen to offers for his services.
Barcelona is awaiting a suitable financial offer before deciding on the player's future, as the management appears open to his departure. However, they will not agree to any deal without meeting their financial demands.
Al Hilal remains out of negotiations for Casado for now, while Mendes is working to identify the club that will secure the services of the Spanish midfielder during the current transfer window.
