Ipswich Set to Announce Signing of Julio Enciso
Ipswich Town is preparing to officially announce the signing of Paraguayan striker Julio Enciso from French club Strasbourg, in a deal worth over €30 million, including add-ons and a clause allowing Strasbourg to receive a percentage of any future sale of the player, according to journalist David Ornstein.
Ince, 22, has successfully completed his medical tests and is expected to sign a five-year contract with Ipswich, who are preparing for a return to the Premier League.
The deal also includes the transfer of young Strasbourg player Abdoul Watara to Ipswich. Watara, who is 20 years old, is a graduate of the Strasbourg academy and excels in midfield as well as on both sides of the full-back position.
Insigne returns to Ipswich after previously representing the team on loan from Brighton during the second half of the 2024-2025 season, where he made 13 appearances and scored two goals, but he was unable to help them avoid relegation to League One.
