Al Hilal Sets Date to Negotiate with Chelsea for Neto Deal
Al Hilal has intensified its efforts to acquire Portuguese winger Pedro Neto from Chelsea, having set a new date to initiate direct negotiations with the London club to finalize the deal.
Fabrizio Romano, the transfer news specialist, revealed that Al Hilal officials are set to hold discussions with their Chelsea counterparts this week to explore the possibility of Neto's transfer.
Al Hilal has already sent its financial offer to the player and his camp, which includes his representatives, indicating the Saudi club's seriousness in completing the transfer during the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed that there is strong interest from Al Hilal in the player, but he clarified that Chelsea had not received an official offer from the Saudi club as of Monday morning.
Estimates suggest that Chelsea is asking for a high financial return to part ways with Neto, as the player's estimated value is around £100 million, which could complicate negotiations.
Al Hilal has placed Neto on a shortlist of three wingers, having identified the club's attacking needs and is looking to secure one of the available options before the transfer market closes.
Neto is 26 years old and plays as a right winger. He has made 135 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 19 goals and providing the same number of assists for his teammates.
The Portuguese winger has 38 goal contributions with Chelsea, consisting of 19 goals and 19 assists. Meanwhile, the transfer is now awaiting the outcome of direct negotiations between Al Hilal and the English club.
Al Hilal fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome of upcoming negotiations regarding Neto's potential transfer. The club remains committed to the possibility of signing Neto, but finalizing the deal requires an official agreement with Chelsea.
