Rodri and Cancelo Arrive in Barcelona Today

On Monday, the duo of Rodri and Joao Cancelo arrived in Barcelona, preparing to complete their transfers to the Catalan club, after Barcelona finalized the agreements for both deals. These moves come ahead of the match against Al Ahly in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Wednesday.

João Cancelo is expected to arrive in Barcelona today on a private jet after terminating his contract with Al Hilal. His transfer to the Catalan club will be on a free transfer.

The Portuguese full-back hinted at his return through his Instagram account, posting a picture from the plane with the caption: "On my way home."

Rodri is expected to arrive in Barcelona this evening, preparing to undergo medical examinations and finalize the procedures before signing his contract with the club until June 2030.

Barcelona has reached an agreement with Manchester City regarding the transfer, for a fixed fee of around €60 million plus variables.

After completing the official procedures, Barcelona is planning for Rodri and Cancelo to be at Spotify Camp Nou to watch the team's match against Al Ahly in the Joan Gamper Trophy, in a move that will mark the duo's first appearance before the Catalan club's fans.
