Barcelona Reaches Agreement to Sign Rodri
Barcelona has reached a complete agreement with Manchester City regarding the signing of Spanish midfielder Rodri, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, with the deal now in its final stages ahead of the player's move to the Catalan club.
This agreement comes after intensive negotiations between the two clubs in recent times, as Manchester City had previously rejected two offers from Barcelona, the first worth €45 million, and the second around €65 million.
Romano did not disclose the final value of the deal, but media reports indicated that the total transfer fee will surpass the €70 million mark, bringing Barcelona closer to securing one of the standout signings of the summer transfer window.
In the coming hours, the final procedures are expected to be completed for the official announcement of Rodri's transfer to Barcelona, in a deal through which the Catalan club aims to strengthen its midfield with one of the world's top players in his position.
Rudi is the fourth signing for the Catalan team this summer, after securing deals for Karim Adeyemi, Anthony Gordon, and Jesse Bissou.
