Flick: The match was a good test, and we will be happy to return to Camp Nou

Hans Flick, the head coach of Barcelona, expressed his satisfaction with the significant victory achieved by the team against Basel with a score of 5-2, emphasizing that the match was an important test ahead of the new season. However, he also stressed that there are certain aspects that need improvement.

Flick said after the match: "It was a good test match for us, and Basel performed well. We didn't play at the speed we wanted, and we need to improve, but I am happy with this test. It's not easy to manage everything, especially since some players returned just five days ago."

He added: "We have our opening match in La Liga next week against Elche, and we need to decide who will play and who will start, especially since we only have five substitutions, so managing all these matters is not easy."

Regarding the upcoming match against Al Ahly in the Joan Gamper Trophy, Flick said: "We will analyze the Basel match, and we have another game on Wednesday, but what matters most to me is the quality and intensity of the training, and things are going very well. We need to improve, and through the matches, we will know where we stand."
