Wydad Sets Price for Naeem Biar's Departure Amid Saudi Club Interest
Moroccan Naïm Biara is set to leave Wydad Casablanca during the current summer transfer window, having failed to deliver the expected performance since joining the red team in last winter's transfer market.
According to the specialized site "Afrikfoot" that covers African player transfers, a Saudi club has been in communication with Wydad's management in recent days to inquire about the possibility of signing Pierre during the current transfer window.
Wydad's management has expressed its willingness to consider the possibility of the player's transfer to the Saudi league, but they have outlined their financial demands for agreeing to his departure. They require $600,000 in exchange for the remainder of his contract, which runs until the summer of 2030.
Pierre joined Wydad in January 2026 from Italian club Bologna, having spent a loan period with Foggia, before the Moroccan club paid around €325,000 to complete his transfer.
Since arriving at Mohammed Benjelloun Stadium, Naïm Biar has participated in 28 matches across various competitions, including 17 matches in the professional league 'Inwi', along with 8 matches in the Italian third division, one match in the Throne Cup, and another in the African Confederation Cup.
Wydad Casablanca's management is awaiting the outcome of discussions with the Saudi club, as they prepare to discuss Pierre's departure should an offer that meets their financial demands arrive.
