Monaco Threatens Besiktas Deal for Faris Gedjimiss
Besiktas has suffered a blow in its attempts to sign Algerian winger Faris Ghadjimess from Italian side Frosinone, as the player has expressed openness to a move to French club Monaco.
According to Africafoot, Monaco made a €7 million offer to Frosinone for the signing of Gdjemis, but the Italian club rejected the bid as it did not meet their financial demands.
Monaco intends to make a new offer in the upcoming period, as the 23-year-old player seems receptive to the idea of transferring to the French club.
Gdjemis had a standout season with Frosinone, participating in 38 matches across all competitions, during which he scored 15 goals and provided 3 assists.
Besiktas is looking to bolster their right wing position, but the strong interest from Monaco in signing the player could complicate matters for the Turkish club.
