Latest on Mustafa Shobair's Contract Renewal with Al Ahly
Ahmed Shobair has disclosed the latest developments regarding the contract renewal of his son Mustafa with Al Ahly, as well as the offers the player has recently received to leave the Red team.
Ahmed Shobeir stated in a radio interview that Mustafa Shobeir has received three offers so far, adding that two official offers have already reached Al Ahly.
Shobeir explained that the first offer came from Danish club FC Nordsjælland, but Al Ahly's management rejected it. Meanwhile, the second offer was from Italian club Como, which finished fourth in Serie A last season.
Como's offer to Al Ahly was nearly $2 million, but the club rejected it immediately upon receipt. They informed the player that Mostafa Shobair is not for sale.
Sayed Abdel Hafiz recently held a meeting with Mustafa and informed him that he will be treated as part of the first category. He noted that negotiations for the goalkeeper's contract renewal are nearing a significant conclusion, with only a few minor details remaining.
Ahmed Shobeir concluded his statements by emphasizing that the relationship between Mustafa Shobeir and Al Ahly is very good, and that there is ongoing dialogue between the two parties to reach a final decision regarding the goalkeeper's future.
