Al Nassr Kicks Off Roshn League Campaign with 3-0 Victory Over Al Fateh

Al Nassr started their campaign to defend the Roshn League title with a powerful 3-0 win against Al Fateh, in a match held at Al Awal Park during the opening round.

The home side established their superiority from the start, relying on continuous attacking pressure, while Al-Fateh opted to retreat and attempt to threaten Al-Nassr's goal through counterattacks.

Walid Al-Anzi, Al-Fateh's goalkeeper, excelled on multiple occasions, making crucial saves against João Félix and Ângelo Gabriel, and maintained a clean sheet during the early minutes.

Al Nassr suffered an early blow with Saad Al Nasser leaving the pitch injured in the 18th minute, prompting coach Ange Postecoglou to bring on Salem Al Najdi to continue the match.

Al Nassr's first goal came in the 37th minute, as Angelo Gabriel capitalized on a precise cross from Al Najdi, striking the ball beautifully into the back of the net.

New signing Samou Costa made a perfect debut in Al Nassr's colors, scoring the third goal in the 73rd minute, quickly leaving his mark at the start of his experience with the team.

Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted in the stands during the match, having delayed his return to Al Nassr training following a break after representing his country in the 2026 World Cup.
