Saudi referee Faisal Al-Balawi will lead the match between Al Nassr and Al Fateh, hosted at Al Nassr Park in the capital city of Riyadh, as part of the concluding fixtures of the opening round.
The match will be officiated by Ibrahim Al-Dakhil as the first assistant referee, and Aissa Al-Khaibri as the second assistant referee. Raed Al-Zahrani will take on the role of Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
The officiating team for the Al Nassr vs Al Fateh match is complete with Farih Al Jaloud appointed as the fourth official. Both teams are eager to make a strong start in the new season.
In the other matchup, the Referees Committee has assigned Saudi referee Majed Al-Shamrani to officiate the Ittihad vs. Al-Khulood match, which will take place at the Al-Inma Stadium.
The officiating crew for the Ittihad vs. Khulood match includes Hisham Al-Rifai as the first assistant, and Omar Al-Jamal as the second assistant, while Ahmed Al-Rumaikhani will be in charge of the video technology.
Ibrahim Al-Jariss will participate as the fourth official in the match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Khulood, which kicks off at 9 PM Mecca time, with both teams eager to secure all three points.
Al Nassr is seeking to exploit the factors of home ground and fan support against Al Fateh, in search of an ideal start that will provide a strong boost in their campaign to defend the Roshn Saudi League title.
On the other hand, Al-Fateh aims to achieve a positive result against Al-Nassr and to present a strong performance from the very first round, especially with the changes the team has undergone during the summer transfer window.
Union also hopes to leverage the hosting of their match at Al-Inma Stadium to secure a victory against Al-Khulood, while the visitors are looking to return with a positive result from the stronghold of the major.
The first round of the Saudi Pro League for the 2026-2027 season wraps up today, following the season's kickoff last Thursday evening.
