Lunin on Juventus' Radar After Suzuki Deal Stalls

Andriy Lunin, the Real Madrid goalkeeper, has caught the attention of Juventus as the Italian club searches for a new keeper following the stalled transfer of Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from Parma.

Spanish outlet "Mundo Deportivo" has reported that Andriy Lunin's name is gaining interest in Italy, with no confirmed agreement yet regarding his transfer to Juventus before the end of the summer transfer window.

Juventus was close to finalizing the deal for Suzuki, but negotiations ultimately stalled, prompting the Italian club to consider other options for the goalkeeper position, including Lunin.

Real Madrid's goalkeeper is among a list that also includes Tottenham's Vicario and Benfica's Anatoliy Trubin, as Juventus explores available options in the market.

Andriy Lunin, 27, is set to remain as Thibaut Courtois' backup at Real Madrid during the current season, and it seems he is accepting this role for now. However, journalist Nicolo Schira has confirmed that the Ukrainian goalkeeper has been offered to Juventus in recent days.

Andriy Lunin is contracted with Real Madrid until 2030, but the Spanish club does not see him as a successor to Courtois. They continue to search for a replacement for the Belgian goalkeeper, whose contract with the team runs until 2027.
