Immobile Announces His Retirement from Football

Italian striker Ciro Immobile has announced his retirement from football, delivering an emotional speech to his teammates at Paris FC, thus ending a professional career that spanned nearly 17 years.

Ciro Immobile, visibly emotional during his speech, stated: "This is a difficult moment for me as it marks the end of a great journey and a part of my life. I love football with all my heart, but I want to be honest with myself about my current situation. The decision was not easy."

The Italian striker added: "You are a big family, and I am happy to be with you and this club and the coaching staff led by Liam Rosenior. But it’s time for me to be with my family and spend more time with them. They have been with me everywhere for 17 years, and I need them."

Ciro Immobile has confirmed that he has made the decision to retire after feeling that he can no longer give his best. He stated: "If I don't feel capable of giving my all, then despite how difficult it is, I have decided to end my career here."

The former Lazio captain concluded his message by saying: "Don't be sad for me, I am happy to be with my family and to start thinking about my new projects for the future.
