Aston Villa Makes Strong Move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Aston Villa has entered the race to sign English right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham United, as manager Unai Emery aims to strengthen the right-back position with a reliable and experienced player.
Fabrizio Romano described Aston Villa's interest in the player as "serious and tangible," while reports confirmed that the club has already held exploratory talks with West Ham regarding the possibility of completing the deal.
Aston Villa's move comes as the right-back position has become a priority for the club, currently featuring Matty Cash and Costa Nedelev. Unai Emery is seeking to add more competition and experience in this area.
West Ham values 28-year-old Aaron Wan-Bissaka at around £25 million, with the club prepared to listen to offers after their relegation to the Championship.
Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming period, amid indications that Aston Villa has become one of the leading contenders to secure the deal, especially since Wan-Bissaka has significant experience in the Premier League.
