Rafael Leão's future with AC Milan remains uncertain, as coach Ruben Amorim has not yet clarified his position regarding the player. This comes amid a decline in the value that the Italian club is asking for to allow the Portuguese winger to leave during the summer transfer window.

According to "Football Italia", Leao expressed at the end of last season his desire to experience a new challenge outside Italy, preferring a move to the Premier League or La Liga, but he has yet to receive any concrete offers from either.

With two years remaining on the player's contract, Milan is aware that this summer could be a suitable opportunity to sell, to avoid a drop in value as he enters the final year of his deal next season.

Previous reports indicate that Amorim has compiled a list of players that Milan could part ways with, including Christopher Nkunku, Tomori, Youssef Fofana, and David Odogo, with the possibility of Rafael Leão, Santiago Giménez, and Estupiñán leaving if suitable offers arrive.

Sky Sport Italia has confirmed that Amorim would be happy for Leão to stay at Milan, but he wouldn't mind his departure if the right conditions are met. The asking price has dropped from around €60 million to €50 million, and the club may consider offers ranging between €40 and €45 million.

This amount represents a significant decrease compared to the €175 million release clause in Leão's contract. The player is currently dealing with a muscle injury that will keep him out of the friendly against Manchester United, and it may jeopardize his participation in the opening match of the Serie A against Torino.
