Al Quwa Al Jawiya announce completion of Mohannad Jaa'z deal

Al Quwa Al Jawiya have officially signed left-back Mohanad Jaaz from Duhok in a deal aimed at addressing the shortage in the left-back position ahead of the Iraq Stars League.

The contract terms have been agreed upon between the two parties in the past hours, making Jaaz an official player for Al Quwa Al Jawiya.

It is worth noting that the club was in urgent need of a quality left-back to provide coach Fathi Al-Jabal with multiple options on the left flank, especially with the pressure of upcoming domestic and Asian matches.

Duhok have announced the signing of Jaaz, but the player has opted to terminate the agreement and leave the northern club due to the financial crisis affecting the club and his discomfort there. This opens the door for his return to Baghdad and to wear the shirt of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.

He previously represented the Iraqi national team and participated in several international tournaments wearing the 'Lions of Mesopotamia' jersey.

In terms of professionalism, Jaaz had an experience in the American league with DC United and Bole. Prior to that, he had played in Sweden with Hammarby and Mjällby.

His return to the Iraqi league through Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya marks a new chapter in his career, after he decided to leverage his international experience to serve a big team competing for titles.

In this context, the board of directors of Al Quwa Al Jawiya issued a statement that read:
