Al Quwa Al Jawiya Completes Deal for Muhannad Jaa'z

Al Quwa Al Jawiya has announced the official signing of left-back Mohannad Jaza, coming from Duhok, in a deal aimed at addressing the shortage in the left-back position ahead of the Iraq Stars League.

All contract terms between the parties were agreed upon in the past hours, making Jaaz an official player for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.

It is worth noting that the club was in desperate need of a quality left-back to give coach Fathi Jabal multiple options on the left side, especially with the pressure of upcoming domestic and Asian matches.

Duhok had previously announced the signing of Jihaz, but the player chose to rescind the agreement and leave the northern club due to the financial crisis the club is experiencing and his lack of comfort there. This decision opens the door for his return to Baghdad and the opportunity to don the Air Force Club jersey.

He previously represented the Iraqi national team and participated in several international tournaments wearing the "Lions of Mesopotamia" jersey.

In terms of professionalism, Jaz had an experience in the American league with D.C. United and FC Pol, having previously played in Sweden with Hammarby and Mjällby.

His return to the Iraqi league through Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya marks a new chapter in his career, after deciding to invest his international experience to serve a major team competing for titles.

In this context, the board of directors of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya issued a statement that read:

The player is expected to join the team's training sessions directly in preparation for being included in the squad for the upcoming league matches.
