Atalanta Signs Thomas Christensen from Udinese
Atalanta has officially signed Danish defender Thomas Christensen from Udinese to strengthen their backline for the new season, following an agreement between the two clubs regarding the player's transfer.
Andreas Christensen has joined Atalanta on loan, with a purchase clause that becomes mandatory upon the fulfillment of certain conditions, ultimately making the deal a permanent transfer according to the terms of the agreement.
The deal is valued at around €20 million, plus €3 million in incentives and add-ons, bringing the total potential value of the transfer to €23 million, according to details circulating about the agreement. The player's value had previously been set at around €20 million by Udinese.
At 24 years old, Christensen plays as a center-back and has previously spent three seasons with Udinese in Serie A, where he participated in dozens of matches and established himself as a key figure in the team's defensive line.
