Yasser Ibrahim's Status for Al Ahly vs Barcelona Match

Ahmad Shobair has revealed the status of Yasser Ibrahim, the Al Ahly defender, regarding his participation in the match against Barcelona scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, as part of the 61st edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy.

Al Ahly achieved a convincing win against Badalona, securing a 3-0 result in the friendly match held yesterday evening.

Shobair stated on his radio program on On Sport Radio: "Yasser Ibrahim felt some heaviness, but it is not an injury; he has fatigue, and therefore he will miss the friendly match on Friday."

Shobir continued: "But what I can confirm is that Yasser Ibrahim will be ready for the Al Ahly vs Barcelona match, God willing."

Al Ahly will play a friendly match tomorrow, Friday, against a team said to be stronger than Badalona, before the final encounter against Barcelona.

Al Ahly will play their next friendly match against Spanish team Europa tomorrow, Friday, before facing Barcelona.
