Bardji Undergoes Successful Surgery

Rony Bardhi, the Barcelona player, has undergone surgery after suffering a tear in the ACL of his right knee, confirming that the road to recovery begins now, following the posting of a photo on his social media accounts.

Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Bardji, 20, sustained an injury during one of Barcelona's training sessions, following the triple match held in Udine, which the player did not attend to avoid risking injury and jeopardizing his departure from the club.

Barcelona has announced that the surgical procedure was successful, conducted at the Barcelona hospital under the supervision of Dr. Carles Munyo, with monitoring from the club's medical services, without specifying the player's absence duration from the pitch.

Bardji previously suffered a serious injury to the same knee during his time with Copenhagen in April 2024, sidelining him for nearly ten months, before recovering and moving to Barcelona.

Barcelona has been looking for a new destination for the player after a season in which he did not participate much, but the current injury will force him to stay in Barcelona for the foreseeable future.

Bardji has received messages of support from many of his teammates via social media, and his former club Copenhagen also sent him a message of encouragement, stating: "Stay strong, Rony, you've done it before, and you can come back again."
