Chelsea has joined the race to secure the services of Senegalese midfielder Lamine Kamara from Monaco, amid interest from several English clubs, including Crystal Palace, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

According to "Foot Mercato", Monaco is insisting on receiving €50 million for the departure of Kamara, who is 22 years old and has a contract with the club until 2029, while the management refuses to let him go for less than this amount.

English clubs are turning their attention to Kamara after he became one of Monaco's key players, scoring one goal and providing four assists in 30 matches last season, which has attracted the interest of several top European clubs.

Philippe Luis, the new head coach of Monaco, praised Kamara's abilities, stating that he might be one of the best midfielders in the world. He emphasized that the player is very important to him and expressed his desire for Kamara to continue with the team.

Kamara, who has made 30 international appearances for Senegal and scored 4 goals, is highly regarded by Chelsea. However, the London club needs to offload one or two midfielders before moving to secure his signing.

The competition for the player intensifies with a formal offer from Crystal Palace, while Nottingham Forest is close to making a bid, alongside interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool. Meanwhile, Monaco is striving to retain Kamara and hold firm on their financial demands.
