Al Ahly Confirms Youssef Belaïli's Cruciate Ligament Injury

Al Ahly SC has announced that their Moroccan player Youssef Belahmar has suffered a torn ACL after undergoing medical examinations and an MRI scan.

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff for Al Ahly's first football team, stated that the tests conducted on Belhamri revealed a tear in the cruciate ligament, confirming that the player will require surgical intervention.

Gab Allah explained that the club's medical team is currently working on determining the date for the player's surgery in the upcoming period, with details regarding his treatment and rehabilitation program to be revealed later.

The injury comes as a major blow for Belamri and Al Ahli, given the player's importance to the team, as he is expected to be sidelined for a long time depending on his response to treatment and rehabilitation following surgery.
