Trezeguet's Financial Settlement with Al Ahly Before Departure

Amir Hossam has revealed the behind-the-scenes details of the financial settlement regarding Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet's contract with Al Ahly before his exit from the team.

Ameer Hossam wrote on his Facebook account: "Exclusive numbers... the precise financial details of Trezeguet's contract settlement with Al Ahly before his departure."

He added: "The player waived $700,000 from last season, in addition to the remainder of his contract for the upcoming years with the team, in appreciation for Al Ahly and its fans... besides waiving €300,000 during his transfer from Trabzon to Al Ahly."

He concluded: "The player waived and terminated his contract with Al Ahly and became a free agent. He could have joined any club in Egypt, but he preferred to maintain his relationship with Al Ahly, its fans, and the home where he grew up."
