Latest Developments in Ramadan Sobhi's Doping Case

Lawyer Hani Zahraan spoke about the latest developments in the doping crisis involving Pyramids FC player Ramadan Sobhi, and the status of the appeal currently presented to the federal court.

The international sports court has decided to suspend Ramadan Sobhi for four years after evidence of manipulation in his doping sample was found.

Zahran stated in an interview with Karim Ramzy on the program "Game and the Second" on Mega FM: "We have filed an appeal with the federal court, but a ruling on its acceptance has not been determined due to the holidays."

He added: "It is possible that a ruling will be issued in September or October, and 'CAS' did not ask us to provide evidence or testimonies during the ruling on Ramadan Sobhi, which could be a strong reason for accepting the appeal."

Ramadan's lawyer stated: "The stabbing incident at the federal court regarding doping is the first of its kind before this court, and we hope it serves as a positive indicator for the appeal to be considered and accepted."

In conclusion: "If the appeal is accepted, Ramadan Sobhi will participate in matches with Pyramids normally, if he is registered, and if he is not registered, he will participate from the beginning of January."
