Inter Milan Closing in on Curtis Jones Deal
Inter Milan's optimism is rising regarding the potential signing of Curtis Jones, the Liverpool midfielder, during the current transfer window, as negotiations are nearing a decisive stage.
According to "Tutto Mercato Web," citing "Fabrizio Romano," Inter has become more confident in the possibility of completing the deal, with a potential conclusion for around €35 million.
Jonson has been a target for coach Christian Kievo since last May. Despite the complexities of negotiations with Liverpool, who rejected an offer from Inter last January, the situation has become more optimistic.
However, Inter first needs to sell Davide Frattesi, who is in negotiations for a transfer to Lazio, before returning to negotiations with Liverpool and making a new offer for Jones.
Liverpool does not wish to sell the player easily, as they value him at around €40 million. Coach Andoni Iraola is also insisting on his continuation, but the approaching end of his contract in 2027 may help narrow the gap between the two clubs and complete the deal.
