Radio "Cadena Ser" reported that Alvarez and Simeone exchanged words before training, where the Argentine forward explained his situation to the coach, who still relies on his services for the upcoming season.

Simeone clearly stated his position on Saturday from the South Korean capital, Seoul, ahead of the match against Manchester City, confirming his full agreement with the club's decision regarding Alvarez's future.

Simeone stated that the club's position is clear, pointing out that the management has made a decision previously explained by Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, while also confirming the coaching staff's satisfaction with Julian Alvarez's assistance in continuing his development and improvement.

According to sources reported by "Mundo Deportivo", Simeone and Alvarez arrived early at the training ground, with the coach making a point to greet players he hadn't met yet, including Argentine forward and Alex Baena and Marcos Llorente, which is customary after the holidays.
