Lens Signs Franjo Ivanovic on Loan from Benfica

French club Lance has announced the signing of Croatian striker Franjo Ivanović from Benfica on loan until the end of the season, for a fee of €2.5 million.

Ivanovic's transfer to Lens comes as he looks for more opportunities to play, having been sidelined from Benfica's main plans in recent times. He is set to embark on a new adventure in Ligue 1.

Benfica signed the Croatian striker from Union Saint-Gilloise in the summer of 2025 for €22.8 million, a deal the Portuguese club heavily relied on.

During his time at Benfica, Ivanovic made 43 appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists, before embarking on a new chapter with Lens until the end of the season.
