Official: Al Riyadh Signs Trezeguet

Al Riyadh has officially announced the signing of Egyptian star Mahmoud Hassan 'Trezeguet' on a free transfer.

Al Ahly has announced the official termination of its contract with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, following several amicable consultations and a "financial settlement" reached between the two parties in recent times.

The official account of Al-Riyadh FC shared a video featuring Trezeguet in the club's jersey, commenting: "From the land of the Pharaohs... to the Middle School."

Trezeguet has previously had several professional experiences outside Egypt, most notably with English club Aston Villa, along with Trabzonspor and Kasımpaşa in the Turkish league, before returning to Al Ahly and then deciding to take on a new challenge in Saudi Arabia.
