Zamalek Agrees to Terminate Abdullah El-Said's Contract

Zamalek's board of directors has resolved the issue surrounding Abdullah El-Said, after agreeing to the player's request to terminate his contract with the club, while also agreeing to schedule his outstanding financial dues, according to Abdel Hadi Mohamed, the team's captain's agent.

Abdullah El-Said has been absent from the training camp currently held in the New Administrative Capital in preparation for the new season, amid an ongoing dispute with the club management over his unpaid dues.

Abdul Hadi Mohamed stated in a press interview: "We requested two days ago to terminate the contract with Zamalek, along with scheduling Abdullah's overdue payments."

The player's agent stated: "The Zamalek Club Board has approved our request, and we thank them for their response," pointing out that the termination of the contractual relationship was done in a manner that preserves the rights of both parties.

He added: "We thank Zamalek Club for responding to Abdullah El-Said's request to terminate the contract in a manner befitting both Zamalek and the player."

Said played a pivotal role in Zamalek's league title win last season, securing the team's return to the CAF Champions League.

In another context, the Zamalek Board of Directors has decided to return the first football team to train at the Defense Ministry Stadium, following the conclusion of their camp currently taking place in the New Administrative Capital. This decision comes at the request of Moataz Gamal, the team's head coach.

The club's management decision came in response to the coaching staff's vision, aiming to provide the best possible conditions for the players, which will help achieve technical and administrative stability and raise the level of readiness ahead of the new season's competitions.

Zamalek continues its preparation program during the training camp in the Administrative Capital, where the team is playing a series of friendly matches aimed at getting the players ready both technically and physically, as well as assessing their levels before the start of the season.

The team starts its friendly matches today with a clash against Plastic at 6 PM, as part of the training program set by the coaching staff in preparation for the new season.
