John Edward Accused of Inciting Zamalek Players to Revolt
Hossam El-Sayed, a member of the Zamalek Club Board, revealed the truth regarding John Edward, the former sporting director of the white club, and the player's alleged rebellion. El-Sayed emphasized that there is no basis for the claims of insubordination and that the club is focused on maintaining harmony within the team.
Zamalek has witnessed a rebellion from some players in recent days, with individuals like Juan Bezerra, Abdullah El-Said, and Chico Panza refusing to participate in training.
Mr. responded to these reports in statements via the "Zamalek App", saying: "John Edward is not young enough to act in such ways. I have dealt with him; he is a respectable person and does his job perfectly along with his team."
He added: "I still communicate with John Edward's team, like Abdul Rahman Ismail, the contracts manager, if you want to get any information on any file."
John Edward has left his role as sporting director at Zamalek, following disagreements with the board led by Hussein Labib.
