Barcelona has received a significant blow ahead of the new season, as they officially announced that young Swedish winger Rony Bragui has suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee.

Barcelona has officially announced that medical examinations have confirmed the player is suffering from a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee, stating that Berdgji will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Barcelona has not specified the duration of the player's absence in their statement, so any figures currently circulating regarding the recovery period remain estimates and not an officially announced timeframe from the club.

Reports have indicated that the player could be absent for around 6 to 7 months, which may mean missing a significant part of the 2026-2027 season, during which he was also a candidate for departure.

The current injury adds to the difficulties facing Bardghji, as the player previously suffered a serious knee injury during his time with Copenhagen in May 2024.
