Debate Over Hakim Ziyech's Future with Wydad
Moroccan media reports indicate that Wydad Casablanca's management is looking for a way to part ways with Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech during the current summer transfer window, despite the player being under contract with the club until the end of next season.
According to sources, this move comes as Wydad's management seeks to reduce the wage bill, at a time when Ziyech shows no desire to leave and insists on honoring his contract with the team.
Ziyech has started his preparations for the new season several weeks ago, showing seriousness and commitment in training under the guidance of Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio.
Wydad fans have expressed their rejection of the idea of the player's departure, considering that Ziyech is still capable of providing a technical boost to the team, alongside his significant market value and international presence.
Hakim Ziyech joined Wydad at the beginning of this year on a contract that runs for a season and a half. During the second half of last season, he played 16 matches, scoring 9 goals and providing 2 assists.
