Inter Milan Set to Sacrifice Frattesi to Secure Curtis Jones Deal

Inter Milan is set to part ways with Davide Frattesi before the transfer window closes, in order to free up financial space and a spot in the squad for the signing of Curtis Jones, the Liverpool midfielder who is a priority for coach Cristian Kivu.

According to "Tuttosport," Inter sees the departure of Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani as essential before decisively pursuing Jones, whom Chievo has been keen to sign for several months.

Frattesi endured a difficult season with Inter during 2025/2026, participating in 33 matches, starting only six of them, without scoring or assisting any goals. The club values him at around €30 million, while a bid of €25 million, including incentives, could be enough for them to agree to his departure.

Juventus remains a potential destination for Frattesi, as Luciano Spalletti admires his abilities. Meanwhile, Tuttosport reported that Inter Milan has reached an agreement with Curtis Jones, while Liverpool is asking for around €40 million.

The Guardian reported that Inter is ready to offer €35 million for Jones, with one year left on his contract, which could facilitate reaching an agreement as the transfer market closes.

Inter hopes to use the proceeds from the sale of Frattesi to finance the signing of Jones, who will provide Kievo with multiple options in midfield thanks to his technical abilities, physical strength, and versatility.
